Most reef cruises give you a day. This one gives you two nights at Airlie Beach, gateway to Whitehaven Beach and the Whitsundays, and two more at Cairns, close enough to the outer reef for a full day on the water and dinner back in town. Port Douglas follows, then a morning of scenic cruising past Willis Island, a coral cay 450 kilometres out in the Coral Sea that only a handful of ships ever see. Around it all, four easy days at sea on Celebrity Edge. Departing 1 December, at the start of the tropical summer.
