Call a Cruise Expert · 1300 214 840 Enquire TodayAdelaide's cruise ships use the Port Adelaide Passenger Terminal at Outer Harbor, run by Flinders Ports. The terminal is on Oliver Rogers Road, about 23 km from the city centre and about 35 minutes from Adelaide Airport.
Outer Harbor railway station is about 200 metres from the terminal, joined by a walkway, with regular trains to Adelaide Railway Station. The train to the city takes about 35 minutes. On cruise days Adelaide Metro sells a cruise day card at Outer Harbor and Adelaide Railway Station for unlimited travel on buses, trains and trams.
The pick-up and drop-off zone is in front of the terminal, through Gate C, and drivers must not leave their vehicles. Inside the secure area there are only a few 15-minute spaces. Free but unsecured parking is in the parklands opposite on Oliver Rogers Road, and Flinders Ports lists a secure off-site car park with a shuttle bus to the terminal.
Arrive at the check-in time on your boarding pass. Cruise lines stagger boarding across the morning and early afternoon to avoid queues, and boarding usually closes an hour or two before the ship sails. You show your boarding pass and ID at the security gate. If you need mobility help, Flinders Ports asks you to call at least 48 hours before the voyage. There is no luggage storage at the terminal.

Cruises that stay in Australia, such as Kangaroo Island or southern coast voyages, need photo identification, but most lines still recommend a passport.
