This reef sailing adds a day in Brisbane on the way north: South Bank and the Gallery of Modern Art, or a river cruise up to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. After another day at sea Celebrity Edge anchors off Airlie Beach for the Whitsundays, then off Cairns for two days and a night, a full day on the outer reef and time the next morning for Kuranda and the rainforest. Port Douglas follows, for the reef or the Daintree, then late morning scenic cruising past Willis Island, a coral cay and weather station in the Coral Sea. Two days at sea bring you home to Sydney on 4 April.
