The South Pacific is best taken slowly. Over twelve nights from Sydney you’ll tender ashore at Lifou, where the reef begins a few strokes from the sand, spend a day on tiny Mystery Island - uninhabited, no roads, no shops - and call at Luganville and Port Vila in Vanuatu before a long, late evening in Nouméa. Around them, six days at sea on Celebrity Solstice, renewed in 2026 with a new open-air Sunset Park, new restaurants and every stateroom updated. Departing 10 November, in the warm weeks before summer.

The largest of the Loyalty Islands, with white cliffs, coral-filled bays and a strong Kanak culture. Walk to the chapel on the headland above Easo, then snorkel in Jinek Bay. A tender port.

A tiny, uninhabited island off Aneityum in southern Vanuatu, ringed by white sand and reef. Snorkel straight off the beach, buy from the market stalls set up by locals from across the water, and take the tender back when you are done.
